Dear Nobles, Ladies and Guests,
It is with great pleasure that the Nobles of Bektash Temple and I welcome you to the great city of Manchester, NH for the 2008 Northeast Field Days. Manchester is the historic site of the world’s largest textile mills, Amoskeag Mills. A century ago, the famous mill employed 15, 000 people, produced up to 600 miles of cotton cloth a day and exported to nations worldwide. Today, these mill buildings house its dominant industries, technology and manufacturing. Manchester is an easy city to get around with great restaurants and shops to explore. Also the home of Verizon Wireless Arena, a 10, 000 seat civic arena and home to the Manchester Monarchs Hockey Team and the Manchester Wolves, a football team.
Our headquarters hotel, the Radisson Hotel Manchester, located on Elm Street is where you will find The Marketplace, Shrine Clowns competition and good friends.
Again, a fraternal welcome to all, Bektash Temple is very proud to host the 2008 Northeast Field Days.
Es Salamu Aleikum, Bradford Durfee President Northeast Shrine Association |
